The “Hooded Huge Coat” reinterprets the well-regarded “Huge Coat” by pairing it with a detachable hood.
While the body is kept extremely simple, the defining feature is an oversized silhouette you can throw on with ease—engineered with ample volume through the back as well. Depending on how you fasten the hood’s snap buttons, it can appear neatly tucked inside the coat, or you can wear it open and light, enjoying a range of expressions to suit your styling.

Using the classic “21-chu” yarn, it’s built to an exceptionally high density with two warp ends and four-ply weft—then woven in Yonezawa through a meticulous process where artisans thread the loom by hand. The refined luster inherent to silk delivers a luxurious presence distinct from nylon, while the combination of superior raw material, advanced technique, and silk’s natural irregularity brings out a richly nuanced hand.
