Barbour x MARKAWARE for EDIFICE SPEY, Gray
Design
The shortest length of the Barbour classic model, the “SPEY”, has been reconstructed into a relaxed silhouette in this special design.
The iconic Barbour front ring zip, corduroy collar, and traditional checkered lining are faithfully reproduced. On the other hand, MARKAWARE's original non-wax fabric was used for the outer fabric. The length and width are generous, creating a piece that can be styled in a modern way. In addition, hand warmer pockets, which were not included in the previous SPEY, have been newly added to enhance the originality of this item.
Recommended Comment
The long-awaited triple collaboration model by Barbour, EDIFICE, and MARKAWARE is back.
Based on the “SPEY,” which was originally created as fishing wear in the 1980s, the new interpretation of the silhouette and details inherits Barbour's distinctive ruggedness and features a modern silhouette that matches today's trends.
The original fabric developed by MARKAWARE is easier to care for and lighter in weight than conventional oiled cotton. Its versatility is also appealing, as it can be used over a long period of time from fall to spring.
The short length of this jacket allows for a variety of layering styles, making it a one-of-a-kind fusion of classic and modern styles.

100% ORGANIC COTTON
This fabric is made of organic super-long-staple cotton from India, woven into a super-dense weave using "Mikko Twist" yarns, which are made by twisting three delicate 80-count yarns together. It is so densely woven that light does not penetrate even when held up to the light, and despite being a natural fiber, it has high water pressure resistance, so there is no need to worry about a little rain soaking through. This fabric is not easily stuffy and does not allow wind to penetrate. The COYOTE color is pre-dyed from the yarn with a high fastness to coloring using a slen dye, so there is no need to worry about the color fading due to wetting or rubbing. The fabric is stiff like a board at first, but becomes softer as it is worn more and more.
