The new "Cowboy Jacket," based on a vintage western jacket with its details refined into a modern balance. It retains a western mood while being designed to avoid becoming overly decorative. Dot buttons are used on the front in place of pearl snaps, adding a minimal expression distinct from typical western wear. Wide elastic shirring at the sides serves not only as a design accent but also brings a moderate change to the silhouette. The fabric's grain direction is also adjusted panel by panel to make the most of the sheen variation unique to velvet's nap, designed so its expression shifts with the way light hits it. The slightly larger collar is another design highlight.

A newly developed "Organic Cotton Velvet" fabric. It is woven slowly on a shuttle loom using compact yarn spun from Turkish organic cotton. A traditional pile-cutting process further achieves velvet's characteristic depth of sheen, beautiful nap, and smooth touch. It is also characterized by a thinner, more supple finish than the thickness typically seen in ordinary velvet. In contrast to its substantial-looking expression, the fabric itself is light and supple. It is finished with a comfortable wearing feel that lets you incorporate it into everyday dress without a second thought.

デザイン
ヴィンテージのウエスタンジャケットをベースに、ディテールを整理することで現代的なバランスへと落とし込んだ新型「カウボーイジャケット」。
ウエスタンらしい雰囲気を残しながらも、過度に装飾的にならないようデザインしています。
フロントにはパールボタンではなくドットボタンを採用し、ウエスタンウェアとは異なるミニマルな表情をプラス。脇には幅広のゴムシャーリングを配し、デザインのアクセントとしてだけでなく、シルエットにも程よい変化を与えています。
また、ベルベット特有の毛並みによる光沢の違いを活かし、切り替えごとに生地の方向を調整。光の当たり方によって表情が移ろうよう設計しました。やや大きめに設定した襟もデザインのポイントです。
