“Chasseur Jacket,” characterized by a commanding oversized silhouette.
Generous body width is given, striking a balance that pairs easily with bottoms ranging from slim to wide.
Large double pockets, combining a hand warmer and flap pocket, are placed at the front. The back features a large-capacity game pocket derived from hunting jackets, putting functional detailing to use as design. “Organic Duck,” a fabric newly developed this season.
It uses rare brown cotton traditionally cultivated in the headwaters region of the Amazon River in Peru. Because brown cotton fibers are extremely short and difficult to spin on their own, it's blended with white organic cotton to ensure strength. Four strands of 20-count yarn are twisted together and woven into a substantial, tough duck fabric.
The Natural Brown colorway, which makes the most of brown cotton's natural color, is left undyed — a distinctive trait of natural material is that its color gradually deepens with UV exposure. While it starts with the firm crispness characteristic of duck fabric, it grows softer and more supple with wear, becoming more comfortable to the body over time.
