Arashida Kinu-ori is a weaving mill specializing in high-density silk textiles, drawing out a beautiful sheen and smooth drape through its refined craftsmanship. It is called "back satin" because the more lustrous satin face is used on the inside, while the side with a more subdued sheen faces outward. This tempers silk's characteristic brilliant sheen into a refined, understated impression, while achieving an ultimate smoothness against the skin on the inside.
