The warp is made of organic cotton indigo rope-dyed uneven yarn. The weft is made of organic cotton yarn blended with silk made from recycled kimono. Kimonos that were once sold in large quantities are now in secondary distribution, but many of them are in difficult-to-sell colors, patterns, and conditions. Those kimonos were returned to cotton form by a warping machine and blended with cotton. Therefore, various colors of silk can be seen in some places, which enriches the expression of the fabric and adds to the soft feel of silk.
