Design

This item combines the design of the "VARSITY JACKET," a standard winter outerwear item, and the "MA-1," which boasts particularly high popularity among military wear. Both items follow basic details and are finished with high quality. The ribs around the neck, cuffs, and hem are all knitted with organic wool to enhance warmth and provide a sense of unity.
The silhouette has a little bit of room in both shoulder and body width, but it is a basic fit that can be worn for many years.

The "VARSITY JACKET" is an American casual staple with an easy-to-wear design and silhouette. The sleeves combine with "MA-1" sleeves to create an unlikely piece of clothing. The combination of melton and nylon is also unique.
The "MA-1" is a symbolic item from the brand's founding period, and has gained the support of many people for its faithful reproduction of the original down to the fabric, parts, and sewing, and its meticulous design. This time, too, the attention to detail is the same as back then, and the high quality with a sense of style is appealing.
The design, which is a fusion of sports and military, straightforwardly expresses American casual wear, but also has a hint of mode. While the bold combination shines through, this item has a rich versatility that can be worn casually, chicly, or in a variety of other ways.

Product name:ORGANIC WOOL MELTON VARSITY JACKET

100% ORGANIC WOOL

Melton fabric made of organic wool from Argentina, South America. It is lightweight and supple, and is more comfortable to wear than ordinary melton. The fabric also features an elegant luster and a smooth texture derived from the material.
The nylon used for the sleeves is 66 nylon twill, woven at a factory in Fukui Prefecture using imported yarn developed by the Dupin Company of the United States in 1935. The same material as used in vintage flight jackets is reproduced, giving this item a realistic look and feel that cannot be produced anywhere else. It is softer and has a silky texture than ordinary nylon fabrics made in Japan.
