The Barbour for EDIFICE & MARKAWARE Short Riding Coat is based on the Barbour "Riding Jacket", which was issued to British military motorcyclists.
Originally worn as a biker's blouson with a tight fit, this model has been rearranged to have a more relaxed body width and dropped shoulders for a more modern look with a good sense of comfort.
While the placement of the front pockets reproduces the original model, the waist belt has been removed to create a clean silhouette.
The lining is made of MARKAWARE's original organic cotton, faithfully reproducing a rare check pattern used by the British military at the time, adding a playful accent to the outfit.

100% ORGANIC COTTON
This special fabric is made of three twisted yarns of 80 count organic cotton from India, woven so densely that the light does not shine through even when held up to the light. (This is not oiled cloth.)
The loom is modified and the fabric is beaten beyond its limits, so it retains its shape like a shape-memory material. Despite being a natural fiber, it also has high water pressure resistance, so there is no need to worry about a little rain soaking through. In addition, it is excellent in preventing stuffiness and wind from penetrating.
The fabric is stiff at first, but gradually becomes softer as it is worn more and more.
