As a signature fabric for MARKAWARE, this material has undergone years of refinement and lightweighting to adapt to our increasingly warmer global climate.
We use ultra-fine 18-micron yarn as the raw material, which is spun domestically into an 80-count two-ply yarn—a relatively fine gauge for wool—and finished in a plain weave.
Despite its light weight, the fabric retains the characteristic firmness and resilience of wool, and features a striking, elegant sheen.
