Organic Cotton Duck
“Organic Duck,” newly developed this season.
This fabric is made from rare brown cotton traditionally cultivated in the headwaters of the Amazon River in Peru. Because brown cotton fibers are extremely short and difficult to spin into yarn on their own, it is blended with white organic cotton to ensure strength. Four strands of No. 20 yarn are twisted together and woven into a substantial, durable duck fabric.
While it initially has the firm, crisp texture characteristic of duck fabric, it gradually molds to the body with wear, developing a softer, more supple feel over time.
