RECYCLE NYLON TUSSER PARKING DOWN PARKA TYPE-1, Black
A down jacket designed with the U.S. Military’s Level 7 Jacket Type-1 PCU (Protective Combat Uniform) as a motif. Keeping a wide body like a monster parka, the length is arranged to that of a normal blouson, allowing the piece to easily balance out with inner wear and bottoms. Sized in such a way so as to be easy to wear even for those who do not usually like longer length items.
Designed with a detachable hood and zippered inner pockets, the jacket has many convenient details. With an elastic cord attached at the hem, this is a wonderful piece that allows you to adjust its silhouette by pulling it tight on the waist pockets. Originally, the Type-1 did not have a windbreaker flap attached, however, as also seen in the Type-2 based monster parka’s details, we’ve added that element so as to create a truly unique design. Normally, the front placket is also fastened with Velcro but to prevent knitted and brushed fabrics from getting caught, dot buttons have been used in lieu as a point.
Contrary to the roughness and profound appearance of military wear, the level of lightness felt upon putting the jacket on is astonishing. With fluffy feathers enveloping you in a sense of comfort, one can wear the jacket for a long period without feeling tired. Of course, the unparalleled warmth of down is also a charm point of this item. Without even having to layer, one can have a high level of warmth.
With pockets on the inside, front, and on both arms of the jacket, another point of this jacket is its high storage capacity. If you only have a few possessions in hand, one doesn’t even need a bag. Convenient for quick outings to do some shopping on a day off or walking around on a trip. With its stressless ease-of-wear and the high warmth of its down, even in the harsh winter season it’ll provide unmatchable comfort.
