This jersey fabric is made from rare organic Egyptian cotton (Giza cotton), spun into a compact yarn of 60 count twin yarns with minimal fluff, and then gas-baked to give a smooth surface finish. Even after repeated washing, the rich luster characteristic of extra-long staple cotton is maintained, and the high gauge (32 gauge) knitting provides a high level of durability.
