This baseball cap is a collaboration with photographer Yuji Takeuchi.
Based on NEW ERA's standard model "NEW ERA 9THIRTY," the cap features the words "Let me root root root for the home team," part of the lyrics to "Take Me Out to the Ball Game," a nickname song for American baseball fans meaning "never forget where you came from, your hometown, or your first love," which is Takeuchi's motto. The embroidered design of "root root root for the home team" (let's cheer for the home team) is simple, but the embroidered accents create a sense of presence.
