Alpaca Stole Cloth Raglan Mac Coat, Natural Brown
A casual hunting coat, made into a luxurious piece from high quality material. Created with raglan sleeves and a roomy silhouette where from the bust to the sleeves its build falls straight to create a beautiful drape, this single coat gives a sophisticated impression.
With hand warmers on the chest, this a wonderful piece that also has a high level of functionality.
Worn with the collar up, using the chin tab, and in putting one’s hands into its hand warmers, the coat puts together an elegant and charming men’s winter look. With the almost silky sheen of its beautiful alpaca wool adding to its quality, the wonderful natural color matched with the texture comes together for a beautiful draped build.
However, owed to the casual design of the hunting coat, without making one look too formal, the coat gives one a somewhat relaxed look.
Even with an inner picked in simple coordination, this coat that covers everything can complete any styling with a sense of presence.
Made luxuriously with rare raw materials, this coat can be enjoyed and used for a long time with only occasional brushing for its care.
Taken from Alpaca, raised in the Andes Mountains of Peru, in an area whose altitude exceeds 4,000 meters. Said to once contain over 40 colors, and even today having over 20 classifications of color, alpacas of this region are characterized by their abundance of natural coat colors. Among those, the rarest of all the colors - the hairs of the black alpaca - are used as is, woven into a fabric that has an incomparable deep, rich brown color.
These hairs are brought from Peru to be made into yarn at a spinning mill in Ichinomiya, Aichi Prefecture, which are then woven on Schonherr looms also located in Ichinomiya; from which they are then taken to be processed at a textile factory that specializes in animal hair in Izumiotsu City, Osaka Prefecture.
This fabric which remains undyed and retains its natural colors - in addition to being environmentally friendly in that it does not use the waters, dyes, or heavy oils required in normal dyeing processes - is finished with a pleasant touch that brings out the original texture of its source material.
