Design

The MA-1, a popular item since the brand's early days, is reproduced in every detail, including the fabric made of 66 nylon twill with realistic expressions, as well as the special-order dot buttons with dahl plating and the special-order ribs knitted from Kempi-infused wool. The warmth and high quality finish are appealing.

The silhouette is oversized with a generous shoulder and body width.

Recommended Comments

The MA-1 has an evergreen brilliance that will never go out of style in any era.

The appeal of MARKA's military items is their realistic construction that is made close to the original by thoroughly researching fabrics, parts, details, and so on. One of the joys of wearing this MA-1 is that you can feel the item's growth as it ages.

The item made of the same nylon material as the vintage one has an original style and gives strength to your coordination. Once you put on the sleeves, you will not be able to wear any other MA-1.

Product No.: M23C-19BL01C
Product name:66NYLON TWILL MA-1

100% NYLON

This 66 nylon twill is woven at a factory in Fukui Prefecture, Japan, using imported nylon yarn developed by DuPont of the United States in 1935. It is made from the same material as vintage flight jackets, and has a realistic look and feel that cannot be produced elsewhere. It is softer and has a silky texture than ordinary nylon fabrics made in Japan. The padding is made of PrimaLoft "Silver Insulation," which has just the right balance of lightness and thickness.
